Installation Tips

1.Loosening and Removing the lug nuts and then pulling off the wheel.

2.Removing the Brake Pads with a flat-blade screwdriver

3.Striking the surface of the rotor with a hammer to loosen the rotor, Pull the rotor off.

4.Remember to clean the hub surface, brake pad shims, and caliper bracket with a wire brush before you install the Brake Rotor, and spray the rear of the hub and the front of the rotor with brake cleaner.

5.Applying grease to the hub surface and the back of the brake pads.

6.Tightening the lug nuts in a crossing or star pattern.

Brake Maintenance Tips:

The following inspections and maintenance procedures can help prevent potential brake problems:

1. Check the brake fluid level at every oil change. Replace fluid according to the vehicle Owner¡¯s Manual recommendations.

2. Calipers and wheel cylinders should be checked at every brake inspection and serviced or replaced as required

3. Inspect the brake lines for rust, punctures, or visible leaks. (You may be able to do this, but consult a qualified technician if necessary.)

4. Check the thickness of your brake pads

The following should be conducted by a qualified technician:

1. Inspection of the brake hoses for brittleness or cracking.

2. Inspection of brake lining and pads for wear or contamination by brake fluid or grease.

3. Inspection of wheel bearings and grease seals.

4. Parking brake adjustments (as needed).

5. Connect the regulator to the new motor.
