Master tool set contains a comprehensive set of tools to perform camshaft + VANOS timing on M52TU, M54, M56 Engines. The tools are also applicable for camshaft timing on non-VANOS engines (M42, M44, M50, M52, MS50US and S52US).

Use this kit to

Camshaft alignment jig to fix the camshafts in the proper orientation during assembly

Top dead center pin to align the flywheel at the TDC position.

BMW Double VANOS Camshaft Alignment Tool:This five-piece kit contains all the tools necessary to assemble and time the VANOS cam-timing units on BMW M52TU, M54 and M56 6-cylinder engines utilized from 1998 onwards.
