Removal Guideline

Caution: Damage to the vehicle and air suspension system can be incurred if work is carried out in a manner other than specified in the instructions or in a different sequence.

To avoid the possibility of short circuits while working with electric components consult your owner's manual on how to disconnect your battery.

Consult your vehicle owner's manual,service manual, or car dealer for the correct jacking points on your vehicle and for additional care, safety and maintenance instructions. Under no circumstances should any work be completed underneath the vehicle if it is not adequately supported, as serious injuries and death can occur.

Once the vehicle has been raised from the ground, put vehicle in neutral, and then back into park to release the tension on the drivetrain.

2.Consult your vehicle owner's manual, service manual, or car dealer for the correct jacking points on your vehicle and for additional care, safety and maintenance instructions. Under no circumstances should any work be completed underneath the vehicle if it is not adequately supported, as serious injuries and death can occur.

1.Set steering to straight ahead.

2.Raise vehicle.

3.Remove applicable front wheel.

4.Remove the upper plastic cover that sits above the air strut.

5.Disconnect the strut connector retaining clip.

6.Disconnect the top electrical plug.

7.Disconnect the air line and remove the air fitting.

8.Loosen and remove the three top shock mounting nuts.

9.Disconnect the wheel speed sensor.

10.Detach the wheel speed sensor wires from their retention brackets.

11.Loosen and remove the sway bar end link nut and seperate from the strut.

12.Loosen and remove the bottom mount nut and bolt.

13.Loosen and remove the upper ball joint nut and seperate the ball joint from the spindle assembly.

14.Remove the air strut from the vehicle.

Installation Guideline

1.Install the arnott top plate onto the air shock.

2.Install the air shock into the vehicle.

3.Install the bottom mounting bolt and nut and tighten to manufacturer's specifications.

4.Reattach the sway bar end link. Reinstall the sway bar end link nut and tighten to manufacturer's specifications.

5.Reattach the upper ball joint to the spindle assembly. Install the nut and tighten to manufacturer's specifications.(

6.Reinstall the top shock mounting nuts and tighten to manufacturer's specifications.

7.Reinstall the air line.

8.Reinstall top electrical plug, being careful to appropriately orient the electrical connection to align the pins.

9.Reinstall the strut connector retaining clip.

10.Reattach the wheel speed sensor wires to the mounting brackets.

11.Reconnect the wheel speed sensor.

12.Reinstall the upper plastic cover.

13.Reinstall the wheel.

14.Lower the vehicle.

15.Installation complete.
