*Removal Guideline
Caution: Damage to the vehicle and air suspension system can be incurred if work is carried out in a manner other than specified in the instructions or in a different sequence.
To avoid the possibility of short circuits while working with electric components consult your owner's manual on how to disconnect your battery.
Consult your vehicle owner's manual, service manual, or car dealer for the correct jacking points on your vehicle and for additional care, safety and maintenance instructions. Under no circumstances should any work be completed underneath the vehicle if it is not adequately supported, as serious injuries and death can occur.
1.Set steering to straight ahead.
2.Raise the vehicle.
3.Remove the applicable wheel.(picture 1)
4.Remove the air line.(picture 2)
5.Disconnect the electrical connection.(picture 3)
6.Remove the three top mounting nuts from the strut.(picture 4)
7.Remove the wires from the wire clip on the sway bar end link.(picture 5,6)
8.Follow the wiring from theshock and disconnect at the junction.(picture 7)
9.Remove the brake line isolator.(picture 8)
10.Remove the sway bar end link nut.(picture 9)
11.Loosen the bottom mount bolt.(picture 10)
12.Remove the bottom mount bolt.(picture 11)
13.Remove the control arm nut.(picture 12)
14.Remove the axle bolt.(pictures 13,14)
15.Remove the axle.(pictures 15,16)
16.Remove the strut from the vehicle.(picture 17)
17.Removal complete.

1.Installation is in reverse order of air strut removal.
