Removal Guideline

Caution: Damage to the vehicle and air suspension system can be incurred if work is carried out in a manner other than specified in the instructions or in a different sequence.

1.To avoid the possibility of short circuits while working with electric components consult your owner's manual on how to disconnect your battery.

2.Consult your vehicle owner's manual, service manual, or car dealer for the correct jacking points on your vehicle and for additional care, safety and maintenance instructions. Under no circumstances should any work be completed underneath the vehicle if it is not adequately supported, as serious injuries and death can occur.

1.Set steering to straight ahead.

2.Lift vehicle and remove wheel.

3.Locate and remove the seal and plastic cover in the engine compartment.

4.Locate and remove the three(3)top mounting bolts.

5.Locate and remove the air line. Remove the air line fitting from the air hose and discard.

6.Locate and disconnect the electrical plug from the bottom of the shock.

7.Loosen and remove the pinch bolt holding the upper control arms to the spindle assembly.

8.Loosen and remove the lower mounting nut and bolt.

9.Remove the air strut from the vehicle.

10.Remove the four(4)top mounting nuts to separate the o.e.Air strut from the top mount assembly.

11.Removal complete.
